News from Otto Ettari

To mark its 40th anniversary, the Kissinger Summer Festival will present itself from June 11 to July 18, 2026, in a more diverse and vibrant way than ever before. Under the guiding theme “Mazel Tov,” the renowned international music festival turns its focus to the Jewish cultural heritage of Bad Kissingen and Europe – moving, inspiring, and filled with musical brilliance.

Otto Ettari is once again supporting this extraordinary anniversary year as the festival’s main sponsor, sending a strong message in favor of culture, joie de vivre, and social togetherness.

Internationally acclaimed artists such as Cecilia Bartoli, Anne-Sophie Mutter, Igor Levit, and Sir Simon Rattle, together with a variety of exceptional concert formats, will create unforgettable festival moments of the highest artistic caliber.

A special highlight is the exclusive recital presented by Otto Ettari, featuring Cecilia Bartoli and David Fray on July 17, 2026. These two outstanding artists combine emotional depth, musical sensitivity, and international excellence to create an evening filled with expression, intimacy, and unforgettable moments.

Where music brings people together, sparks conversation, and celebrates shared experiences, fine enjoyment naturally has its place as well. That is why guests at the Kissinger Summer Festival are invited to raise a glass – especially when Otto Ettari, as a premium sponsor, accompanies the festival with selected Italian wines and a touch of Mediterranean lifestyle.

In this way, music, encounters, and enjoyment come together to create a celebration for all the senses – in the true spirit of “Mazel Tov”: a toast to life, to culture, and to an unforgettable Kissinger Summer 2026.

The prestigious Vinoway Awards Commision has named our enologist Dr. Jacopo Vagaggini as the Best Young Italian enologist 2023. We look forward to the awards ceremony on October 21st at Castello Monaci Resort.

Jacopo Vagaggini was born with a passion for wine: His family has been successful enologists for three generations. After a high-level study and a doctorate at Oxford and the University of Bordeaux, he dedicated himself to experimental research, gaining experience in Europe and also in Argentina, before returning to the terroir at the bottom of Monte Amiata to live his own wine philosophy. Together with his father, “Mr. Sangiovese” Paolo Vagaggini, he runs a large laboratory in Siena.

Jacopo Vagaggini strives for the ideal of a modern, elegant wine that respects and cultivates the unique identity of its terroir. We at Otto Ettari are proud and grateful to have enologist Dr. Jacopo Vagaggini accompany us on our journey.
